Tech companies lead the quarterly office rental market in Barcelona   According to 2018 data, 8,642 foreign companies are settled in Catalonia, 22% more than in 2017
During 2019 first quarter more than 140,000sqm of office space were rented. Tech companies rented 89,000sqm in 2018, 25% of the total area hired.   These companies turnover represents 31% of the total of companies working from Catalonia. Germany (1,129 companies), France (1,070) and the USA (1,010) are the countries with the highest presence.

Barcelona-Sagrera Project: new central station, new sustainable urban growth centre
Barcelona will develop more than 20,000sqm of streets and green areas around the station. The works, promoted by Barcelona Sagrera Alta Velocitat and Barcelona’s Town Hall, rely on an investment of €6.9M. (+)
