El Prat, ranked number six and leader in growth in Europe’s top ten airports, is now opening up new routes		The Catalan economy grew by 3.4% in the third quarter, driven by industry and construction
The airport increased traffic by up to 11.2% in 2016, more than London-Heathrow, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt or Madrid-Barajas. The Barcelona airport registered a total of 40.9 million passengers between January and October, with a 7.3% increase compared to 2016.		The Catalan economy has maintained strong growth in the third quarter, with a quarterly increase of 0.8%. Industry (+3.7%) and construction (+6.8%) have been the main drivers behind this growth .
