The multinational Transformative Digital Customer Experience (TDCX), born in Singapore in 1995, has experienced notable growth since its establishment in Barcelona in 2019. Starting its activity with a single employee, Sophie Chelmick, the company has developed a headquarters in Vila Olímpica, which currently has 300 employees. Specializing in customer support services for various European companies, TDCX operates from a 2,600 square meter space, offering everything from pre-sales to customer service, content moderation and team training.

With revenue of $494 million in 2022, a 19% increase from the previous year, the company has seen an impressive 85% increase in its year-on-year revenue in Europe during the first half of 2023. TDCX executive vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa highlights the uniqueness of the company by not being a conventional “call center”, since each employee specializes in a specific client, taking advantage of artificial intelligence to perform basic tasks and offering more complex services.

TDCX stands out for providing services mainly to technology companies in sectors such as gaming, tourism, digital advertising, e-commerce and, more recently, health, with projects such as medicine-dispensing robots. The Barcelona headquarters continues to be the base of operations for the European expansion of TDCX, which plans to maintain and strengthen its presence, anticipating an increase in its local workforce to reach between 450 and 500 employees by the end of 2024.
