A technology campus of up to 68,000 m² will be built with a 42 MW installed capacity data centre, which is expected to be the largest in Catalonia. The estimated investment for the project is 300 million euros and the first phase, of 42,000 m², will begin to be built at the end of 2023.

Quark, a leader in Architecture, Engineering and Project Management for Data Centres, will be responsible for the design and construction of a large data centre in Cerdanyola, just 20 km from Barcelona.

The future operator and tenant will be defined after an orderly process led by Colliers and Telam Partners. The location of the data centre ensures unbeatable connectivity and immediate power availability, which guarantees the success of the project and is a sure bet for the business development of the future tenant.

Experts are confident that this project will be the largest Data Centre to be built in Catalonia and Spain, and will contribute to expanding the digital infrastructure throughout southern Europe and North Africa. In addition, the project has the support of the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council.
