22@ district leads demand for offices in 2018 with 128,000 square metres

The 22@ Network BCN association, in its yearly report on the evolution of the real estate market in Barcelona’s 22@ technology district, noted that the area led demand for offices in 2018 with 128,000 m² leased, up 14% from the previous year and 33% of the city-wide total. The district currently has six construction or refurbishment projects that will add 43,000 m² to the stock of office space in the district by 2020. The report also compiles the most noteworthy operations, above 5,000 m², including those by Everis, CCC-Facebook, WeWork, IMH and Criteo.
