The north-American cruises’ company Carnival Cruises recently opened in an official manner its second terminal at Barcelona’s port, the Helix Cruise Center. It has invested €30m on it. This terminal is located at the wharf attached to the port and occupies 12,500 sqm in two floors. Carnival Cruises’ investment at Barcelona’s port, including its investment for Palacruceros terminal in 2007, reaches €46m, the highest investment of Carnival Corporation in terminals around Europe.
