Barcelona is preparing to host the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) from June 5 to 7 at the Fira de Barcelona, Plaza España. This event, organized by the Barcelona Free Trade Zone Consortium (CZFB), is one of the most important fairs in the world in logistics, transport, intralogistics and supply chain.

In its 24th edition, the SIL stands out for its magnitude and diversity, reflecting the growing interest in the sector. 650 companies, more than 100 startups will participate, and more than 160 exclusive innovations will be presented. This year, the fair focuses on the digital transformation of the logistics sector.

The event will feature advanced solutions such as the use of drones for the last mile and applications to monitor maritime noise and preserve biodiversity.

In addition, professionals will be able to participate in the SIL Platform, a space designed to enhance networking and business relationships. This platform will make it easier to schedule meetings and share knowledge.

SIL Knowledge will offer a program with more than 70 sessions and 320 international speakers who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of new technologies in logistics. Topics to be discussed include fuels for maritime transport, industrial digitalization, sustainability and AI in logistics. Directors from large companies such as Unilever, Nestlé, Mercadona and Revlon will participate.

Finally, the BWAW by SIL will promote gender equality in a sector traditionally dominated by men, with daily sessions dedicated to making visible the role of women in logistics.
