In an exciting event, Toyota Material Handling España, the world-renowned logistics subsidiary, has broken ground on its innovative new headquarters in Sabadell, Barcelona. Toyota Material Handling Spain’s managing director, Joan Catalán, was present at the ceremony, highlighting the company’s commitment to growth and sustainability.

Scheduled for completion in 2024, the new centre will occupy an impressive 16,500 m2 on a 37,247 m2 plot of land. There, a team of 225 professionals, in addition to on-site associates, will work closely together to provide exceptional service to Toyota Material Handling España’s customers.

This significant development will enable the company to further enhance its ability to deliver efficient logistics solutions and advance its commitment to achieving zero emissions across its operations. The site has been designed with state-of-the-art technologies and systems to maximise efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint, demonstrating Toyota Material Handling España’s focus on sustainability.

Joan Catalán, general manager of Toyota Material Handling Spain, expressed his enthusiasm for this new move to Sabadell, highlighting the choice of location for its modernity and convenience for the team. The new centre will integrate several activities, including distribution, marketing and after-sales service of industrial machinery, as well as financial services, automation projects and sustainable energy.

The construction of this modern headquarters reflects Toyota Material Handling Spain’s commitment to providing exceptional service, fostering innovation and contributing to the region’s economic growth.
