TMB breaks validation records on metro and bus, marking a year of success in public transport

During 2023, TMB set a new daily ride record with 1.65 million validations on October 31. The metro system reached a historical record of more than 440 million validations in the year, showing an increase of 6.8% compared to 2019.

In October, the metro also recorded a monthly record with almost 41 million validations. As for the bus service, it surpassed the 2022 validations, totaling more than 203 million and experiencing an increase of 16% compared to the previous year. Lines like X1 reached almost 6,000 daily validations.
