The Port Authority of Barcelona has completed the restoration of four sheds on the Eastern Quay, just in time for the America’s Cup events. This project, which has required an investment of 7.3 million euros, is part of the Port Vell transformation plan started in March 2023.

Three of the sheds will serve as meeting points for the port community during the America’s Cup, while the fourth will house the maritime station for the venue’s new nautical bus. The rehabilitation, carried out by a temporary union of companies formed by Copisa, Constructora Pirenaica and Natur System, represents a commitment by the port of Barcelona to preserve its heritage and open more spaces in Port Vell to citizens.

The sheds will be managed and marketed by the Port Vell urban management, under the brand ‘Tinglados’. The objective is to attract high-value cultural activities and strengthen the connection between the port and the city.
