This year, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) hosted more than 101,000 attendees from 205 countries. 59% represented industries adjacent to the mobile ecosystem.

If we go into the details of the figures, the MWC was attended by 2,600 journalists, 2,700 exhibitors and 1,100 speakers, of which 51% hold a business position at the level of director or higher, including 21% of senior executives.

Catalan participation in the MWC and 4YFN, supported by the Generalitat of Catalonia, expects to generate 18.4 million euros of turnover in 12 months, and 12% of companies have already signed agreements during the congress. With more than 3,179 meetings and visits, 44% with international professionals, and a record of 24,880 visitors in the Catalan pavilions, MWC Barcelona continues to be a global stage for innovation and technology in Catalonia.
