The Department of Territory will allocate 2.4 million euros to promote rehabilitation and adaptation works of housing in small municipalities, encouraging population settlement in rural areas.

Through the Arraigo program, works have been tendered to adapt municipal buildings in Bovera, Granadella, Juncosa, and el Soleràs to accommodate up to ten housing units, with an investment of 472,000 euros. Simultaneously, the guidelines for new rehabilitation grants from the Rural Housing Program have been published, with a budget of 2 million euros.

This initiative by the Catalonia Housing Agency aims to improve the condition of housing stock in rural municipalities across Catalonia, with special attention to those with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants and mountain areas.

Applications for these grants can be submitted from April 15 to June 28.
