The company has established two key centres in the city, focused on R&D and healthcare

The multinational tech company Oracle has launched its first European health centre in Barcelona. This new hub provides support and services to clients in the healthcare sector across Europe. Over 60 professionals from various technical backgrounds and nationalities have joined the Oracle Health Hub in Torre Glòries, where the company now occupies four floors and has established two key centres for research and development (R&D) and healthcare.
Oracle’s decision to establish a strong presence in Barcelona is based on the city’s many advantages. According to the company, Barcelona is an exceptional city, offering a combination of economic growth, talent, strategic location, climate, environment, quality of life and rich architectural and cultural heritage. It’s also home to major global events such as Mobile World Congress.
The company also highlights that Barcelona ranks among the top three European cities for start-ups, drawing talent from around the world. This ability to attract talent means that Oracle’s Barcelona teams include professionals from 40 different nationalities among its 450 employees, blending international perspectives with local culture.
It’s also worth noting Oracle’s firm commitment to innovation and active role in Barcelona’s tech ecosystem. The company is part of the Barcelona Health Hub and a member of both the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya and the Digital Cluster of Catalonia.
