Tourism in Catalonia grows a 3.4% with regard to 2017, and the expense shoots up

Catalonia received around three million international tourists during the first quarter of 2018. This figure represents a growth of 3.4% with regard to the same period last year, according to the data by Enquesta de Moviments Turístics en Frontera (Frontur), elaborated by Institut Nacional d’Estadística (INE), and made public recently. Regarding the expense, the figure reached during the first three months sums up 3,098 million euros, a 10.4% more than a year ago.
