El Prat posts 35.6 million passengers through August, up 5.2% from 2018

The El Prat airport saw 35.6 million passengers in the first eight months of this year. This is up 5.2% from the same period, January to August, last year. With regard to operations, 231,572 flights operated out of the El Prat airport over these eight months, 3% more than the same period in 2018. Looking at cargo transport, 112,662 tonnes were handled between January to August, up nearly 2% from the same period last year.
