According to the report Digital Talent Overview 2019, drawn up by Barcelona Digital Talent (a public-private alliance driven by MWCapital, Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya -Tech Circle of Catalonia-, Barcelona Tech City, 22@Network, Foment del Treball -Work Promotion body-, the Government of Catalonia and Barcelona’s Town Hall, with GSMATM’s support), the tech companies demand of digital talent in Barcelona is growing nonstop. The Catalan capital is already attracting a 30% of professionals from outside the city. According to the report, 1 out of every 10 positions offered in the city (11,4%) are already digital; this supposes a 40% more if compared to last year’s situation.
