The Financial Times publication fDi Magazine appreciate, in the context of the fDi Strategy Awards, the strategy of the Catalonian government to gain foreign investment at an International level. Among the 112 localizations around the world, the British group awarded the public agency ACCIÓ-Catalonia Trade & Investment with the award Investment Promotion Agency of the Year. According to the updated Directori d’empreses estrangeres (Directory of Foreign Companies), drawn up by ACCIÓ, nowadays there are 8,642 foreign companies settled in Catalonia.
