According to official data made public by AENA, Aeroport de Barcelona-El Prat closed 2018 with 50,172,457 passengers, a 6.1% more than in 2017. Passengers of international flights have increased a 6.2%, up to a total of 36,668,175. With regard to goods freight, in 2018 172,940 tonnes were moved from Barcelona-El Prat, a 10.8% more than during the previous year. 14,758 tonnes were moved in December, a 12.1% more than in December 2017.
