Eithad Airways airline, company from the UAE, announced that it is going to connect both cities from 21 November. The frequency of this connection will be of five times per week. Barcelona will then become the second Spanish city that works with Eithad Airways, after Madrid, and, in this manner, Abu Dhabi will become a hub for the travellers heading from Barcelona to the main cities of the Indian subcontinent, south-east Asia, China, Japan, Korea and Australia.
