Once again this year, Catalonia remains in first position in connectivity in Europe, with an improvement of 5.4 points over the same indicator in 2019 and nearly 16 points above the European average.

This is reflected in the study ‘Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) Catalonia 2020’, the second edition of the index calculated for Catalonia with the methodology of the European Commission.

According to DESI Catalonia 2020, the territory has a 64.75% digitalization rate, behind only the Nordic countries.
