Natura Bissé, a multinational cosmetics company, has broken ground on its new corporate headquarters at Parc de l’Alba, in Cerdanyola del Vallès. This new facility will be located on a plot of more than 5,700 m2 and have more than 9,000 m2 in floor space. The land was purchased from Incasòl a year ago and will house a research, marketing and logistics center, a factory and a training and innovation area.

This Natura Bissé project will create 25 new jobs and the facility is expected to be inaugurated in late 2018. The company currently markets its products in more than 30 countries and is a global leader in research and development in cosmetics for face and body, competing with large brands like Dior and Estée Lauder.

With this latest initiative, Parc de l’Alba –a project that is part of the Barcelona Catalonia initiative- is further consolidating its place as one of the most strategic projects in Catalonia. It offers new investment opportunities, with 1.5 million m2 of floor space available for a variety of economic and residential activities, at one of the most advanced science, technology and business platforms in Europe.

In this regard, the Catalan government’s commitment to this project has made it possible to build the Alba Synchrotron –one of the most important research facilities in the Mediterranean region- and to market nearly 111,000 m2 of floor space to companies like StradivariusIBMSENER and T-Systems.
