Once construction is completed in June, the city of Barcelona will have the largest eSports centre in southern Europe. They also aim, thanks to this new infrastructure, to become the high-performance centre of reference in the field of video games in Europe.

We can consider the new BIG C centre as a new example of success that positions Catalonia and Barcelona as a top-level location in the video games and digital entertainment sector.

As the CEO of BIG.C, Jean-Sébastian Ventura, emphasised, video games are one of the most powerful industries in the world and a driving force for economic transformation.

Catalonia continues to lead the list of European regions with the highest levels of foreign investment in the video games sector.
