Fira de Barcelona is reactivating its activity this September with an extensive calendar of trade fairs and business events until the end of the year. The city of Barcelona will hold more than 100 events, congresses and trade fairs at the Montjuïc and Gran Vía exhibition centres and the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) during the last four months of 2022.

The main fields in which these events will be held are: medicine, technology, innovation and tourism. The exhibition centre will host more than 60 major congresses and trade fairs in various sectors, as well as 40 events, shows, corporate, cultural and sporting events.

EVENTS

The agenda gets underway with important congresses in the medical sector. This September will see the International Paediatric Oncology Congress (SIOP) and the European Congress of Radiology (CIRSE), among others.

Also taking place until the end of the year are the world congresses on Vaccines, Sterilisation and Haematology, the European congresses on Robotic Urology, Nuclear Medicine, Breast Cancer, Paediatrics, Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Cancer Treatment Therapies, as well as the annual meeting of the Spanish Society of Haematology and Haemotherapy (SEHH-SETH).

This autumn will also see events related to innovation, technology, industry and tourism. These include Smart City Expo World Congress (world leader in smart cities), Tomorrow Mobility World Congress (urban mobility), Puzzle X (materials of the future), Vmware Explore Europe (corporate meeting of the multinational Vmware), Gartner IT Symposium XPO and Ibtm World (business tourism).

In the professional sphere, Fira de Barcelona will host and organise the EAIE congress, the most important higher education congress in Europe. As well as the new editions of Liber (publishing industry), Cosmetorium (cosmetics manufacturing), Paint & Coatings (industrial paint technology) and Efintec (installations and energy sector).
