According to a study recently released by the la Cámara de Comercio de Barcelona, employment in the ICT sector in Catalonia grew by 19.1% in the third quarter and 14,000 new jobs were created in the first nine months of 2020. The study highlights that the ICT sector is the only one that grows in employment both in times of economic growth and crisis. From 2014 to 2019, the weight of those employed in the ICT sector has increased from 2.9% to 3.1%.
