Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), based in Barcelona, ​​is the tenth best young university in the world, according to The Young University Ranking, compiled by  Times Higher Education (THE). In this way, the Catalan university enters for the first time among the top 10 in one of the most prestigious and influential rankings in the world of the university sector. In 2020, it evaluated 414 universities around the world that are less than fifty years old.
