Port de Barcelona recorded during the first eight months of 2018 a total traffic of 45.9 million tonnes. This figure represents a growth of 14% compared to last year’s same period. This was possible thanks to the good traffic figures of containers, liquid bulk cargoes and the motorways of the sea, as explained by the Port staff. From January to August, this infrastructure channelled a total of 2.2 million TEU, with a growth of 14% as well.
