Catalonia has been recently recognized with a special mention at the First Responsible Tourism Award of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR), the main trade fair in the tourism sector, which is held in Madrid every year. The honorable mention was presented for the initiative “Accessible Tourism, Tourism for All”, which has helped to increase the number of adapted destinations for people with reduced mobility or sensory disability to 26.
