The Catalana Occident Group has reached an agreement to acquire the Luxa office complex, in the 22@ technological district of Barcelona, for 90 million euros. It is expected that work on the complex, which comprises two buildings, will be finished during the first quarter of 2018. The Luxa Silver building (10,000 m2) will then be the converted into Amazon’s Southern European SME Support Centre, while the Luxa Gold building (7,000 m2) will host the offices of the American multinational co-working company WeWork,  with its global network of work spaces.

The complex, which stands between Tánger and Badajoz streets, with 300 parking spaces, also comprises a third building, the WIP, which is also under construction. Castellví, the Stoneweg funds and 1810 Capital Investment, invested 60 million euros in the construction of the three buildings in the complex.
