The Barcelona Zona Franca becomes the incubator of logistics innovation for startups
The Barcelona Zona Franca Consortium has launched its logistics incubator, Logistics 4.0 Incubator, with the aim of becoming the first think tank for the development and integration of Industry 4.0 in the logistics sector.
The incubator has 18 actors using and developing new technologies which provide innovative solutions for the logistics sector, with the aim of selecting the 25 most attractive and innovative startups. The initiative is supported by the Incyde Foundation and the Feder Funds.
The incubator provides companies with the necessary equipment to develop disruptive logistics initiatives. With solutions in artificial intelligence, internet of things, big data, 3D printing, warehouse robotisation and green logistics, the incubator offers a think tank for the development and integration of Industry 4.0 in the logistics sector.
The project, supported by the Incyde Foundation and European Feder funds, also provides startups with funding of between 10,000 and 30,000 euros to scale their businesses, physical infrastructure, mentoring services and access to an entrepreneurial ecosystem to boost their networking.
